  • Use Python and SQL to investigate data issues and validate results.
  • Write and improve SQL transformations and data-quality checks.
  • Build small, approved improvements that prepare data for business use.
  • Test changes, document results and work with your mentor before changes are released.
  • Maintain clear documentation and handover notes.
  • Follow data privacy and access procedures when working with data.
  • Work with the EMEA Commercial Operations data team and, where relevant, Customer Experience colleagues and other business users.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI/Data Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics or a related field.

  • Familiar with the basics of relational data, data quality and version control.
  • Careful, curious and well organised.
  • Comfortable investigating problems and proposing practical solutions.
  • Able to document your work clearly and ask for guidance when needed.
  • Confident communicating in written and spoken English.
  • Someone who enjoys working both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively with others.

Experience with BigQuery or other cloud tools is helpful, but not required. University projects, thesis work or previous relevant internship experience are also welcome.

What do we offer?

  • Hands-on experience working with real customer and operational data.
  • The opportunity to apply and further develop your Python and SQL skills.
  • Exposure to data flows, data quality, integration and reporting in an international business environment.
  • Regular support and guidance from your project mentor and the EMEA Commercial Operations data team.
