Say Hi! to your next challenge — explore the opportunity and apply below!

Your mission

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-driven Vice President for our Forestry & Recycling Business Unit. In this executive leadership role, you will take full strategic, operational, and P&L ownership of the business unit. You will define our long-term trajectory, optimize operational efficiency, accelerate technological innovation, and deliver market-leading, sustainable solutions that sharpen our competitive edge globally.

The position is open for Hiab locations within Europe; Work model can be hybrid or remote. Frequent travel required.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for the Forestry & Recycling Business Unit, holding full P&L accountability to maximize profitability, market share, and enterprise value
  • Build robust leadership pipelines by securing, developing, and mentoring top-tier talent equipped for medium- and long-term scaling
  • Build and maintain scalable R&D, advanced production, and technology platforms that serve as core competitive differentiators across corporate divisions
  • Spearhead innovation pipelines and joint research initiatives with internal divisions, academic institutions, and industry research partners
  • Invest in supporting future competencies and differentiators and secure governmental funding and tax benefits related to innovation where possible
  • Prioritise Business Unit's projects based on clear business cases and governance models.

What we are looking for

  • An academic degree in Engineering or an equivalent blend of technical acumen and commercial expertise
  • Solid leadership experience across production, R&D, or product management, backed by full P&L accountability and demonstrable business growth
  • Proven track record of building, inspiring, and leading high-performing, diverse teams
  • Strong Lean and OPEX foundation with a history of driving continuous improvement, optimizing workflows, and elevating organizational maturity
  • Deep comfort operating in global matrix structures—skilled at coaching project leaders, aligning internal and external stakeholders, and driving results through influence rather than formal authority alone
  • Highly analytical, autonomous, and delivery-focused mindset, adept at building trust during periods of change and communicating persuasively in fluent English.

What we offer

As a part of our Employees First culture, we offer opportunities to grow within a dynamic environment that values flexibility and your well-being. We strive to make things easier, empower you to succeed, and strive for excellence in a positive and inclusive environment.
