Role Description The Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Rotterdam, supporting the daily sales and customer service activities of the dealership. In this position, the Sales Assistant welcomes visitors to the showroom, responds to inquiries, and provides clear information about electric vehicles, features, pricing, and available offers. The role includes preparing and updating product and price materials, supporting test drive scheduling and follow-up, and assisting the sales team with documentation, order processing, and appointment management. The Sales Assistant helps maintain an organized, customer-friendly showroom environment and collaborates closely with colleagues to ensure consistent brand presentation and a positive customer experience. This role may also support basic online and phone communication with customers and coordinate with marketing and operations teams when needed. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage positively with visitors and build trust. Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both spoken and written, to explain products and processes accurately. Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Sales skills, with an interest in supporting sales activities and achieving shared targets. Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage appointments, documentation, and showroom readiness efficiently. Interest in or familiarity with electric vehicles and automotive retail is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Rotterdam, including some evenings or weekends as needed. Proficiency in Dutch and good command of English are advantageous. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is a plus, as is experience with basic office and CRM software.

Core Responsibilities

Welcome showroom visitors, answer customer inquiries, explain electric vehicles and offers, and support test drive scheduling and follow-up. Maintain showroom materials and readiness while assisting the sales team with documentation, order processing, appointments, and customer communications.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong interpersonal, customer service, communication, and organizational skills, along with basic to intermediate sales ability. Interest in electric vehicles is beneficial; Dutch proficiency, good English, customer-facing experience, and familiarity with office or CRM software are advantageous.
