Join VA Imaging as Team lead Business Development! Headquartered in Eindhoven (NL), VA Imaging is a fast-growing company in the machine vision industry. With a portfolio of 200+ industrial cameras, lenses and lighting solutions, we help customers worldwide find the right imaging solutions for their applications. As Team lead Business Development, you will lead and develop our international team of Business Development Managers. The team currently consists of 7 people, with plans to grow to 15. You will play an important role in this expansion, coaching your team, supporting commercial opportunities and building strong customer relationships across different markets. With your commercial experience and hands-on leadership style, you will motivate your team, encourage new ideas and help them achieve their targets. You will work closely with the Sales Director to put our global sales strategy into practice and improve the team's performance. Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop our global team of Business Development Managers. Set clear targets, monitor performance and support individual growth. Guide the team in developing sales opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships and handling complex negotiations. Analyse sales performance, forecasts and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Encourage knowledge sharing, constructive communication and collaboration across our international sales team. Work closely with the Sales Director to execute our global sales strategy. Represent VA Imaging during customer visits and international trade shows. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in a commercial, technical or business-related field. At least 5 years of sales experience in the machine vision industry, including international business development and direct customer acquisition. An established international network of machine vision distributors, resellers and system integrators is a plus. Experience in leading, coaching and developing commercial teams. Strong commercial insight, negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset. A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and integrity. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and connect people across different countries and cultures. Excellent command of English; German, French or Italian are a plus. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

A bachelor's or master's degree in a commercial, technical, or business-related field and at least five years of machine vision sales experience, including international business development and direct customer acquisition, are required. Candidates should have commercial team leadership experience, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, a results-driven and entrepreneurial approach, excellent English, and willingness to travel internationally; an established industry network and German, French, or Italian are advantages.
