About AddOptics
Industry: Manufacturing
Company size: 11-50 employees
AddOptics is redefining how smart lenses are designed and manufactured, enabling smartglasses that are thinner, lighter, and ready for everyday use at scale. The lens sits at the center of every smartglasses architecture, defining optical performance, wearability, and system integration. AddOptics’ manufacturing technology strengthens this foundation by delivering thin, high-precision prescription lenses that already improve stacked systems by reducing thickness, improving balance, and stabilizing optical behavior. At the same time, it enables optical and functional components to be integrated directly into the lens, reducing interfaces, improving reliability, and unlocking greater system simplicity and scalability. Based in Rotterdam, AddOptics is helping turn smartglasses from promising prototypes into manufacturable products, bringing scalable, wearable smartglasses closer to everyday reality.
