Must-haves 3–5 years in QA/quality engineering, hands-on with both manual/functional and automated testing Experience testing web and mobile apps, including cross-browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and cross-device verification Solid test-case design, execution, and regression testing discipline (able to own recurring daily/regression sweeps) Working knowledge of core Web3 flows: wallet connections (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect), transaction signing, and on-chain vs off-chain behavior. Need to have smart contract + wallet testing experience Experience testing third-party/exchange (CEX) integrations end to end (e.g. Coinbase-style connect flows) Comfortable setting up and managing test accounts, credentials, and environments Clear, reproducible bug reporting and tracking in Linear (or Jira), with crisp repro steps and evidence Scripting ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python at a working level Strong written English and ability to collaborate across US/Europe/India time zones Nice-to-haves Hands-on with Playwright and/or Cypress (writing and maintaining tests, not just running them) Familiarity running tests in CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) Experience with testnets or mocking Web3 providers Comfort using AI dev tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to speed up test authoring Familiarity with blockchain explorers for verifying on-chain state Prior startup / fast-paced environment experience
Core Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for web and mobile applications, including recurring regression sweeps and cross-browser and cross-device verification. Test Web3 wallet and smart contract flows, on-chain behavior, and third-party exchange integrations, while documenting reproducible bugs and collaborating across time zones.
Requirements
Requires 3–5 years of QA or quality engineering experience, hands-on manual and automated testing, and working-level scripting ability in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python. Candidates must have experience with Web3 wallets, smart contracts, and exchange integrations, along with strong written English and clear bug-tracking practices.
