Assembly worker (Duo function Assembly worker and Warehouse worker) - 40 hours - Maarssen

Job description:

In your role, you will work together with one pleasant, hardworking colleague. Together with your colleague, you work in the LAB department. Here products are checked for firmware version; products are tested and assembled if necessary. Sometimes products are returned due to a malfunction. As soon as the product arrives, you get to work. You check the problem in the system, after which you open the product and make adjustments; you do one last test until the problem is found. Depending on this, the product is returned to the customer, the supplier, or back in stock.

Nevertheless, these are not the only tasks in your role, because this is a duo function! Yes, there is plenty of variety! You also help in the warehouse. Seven colleagues work here who are eager to add you to their hardworking team.

What will be your activities?

• Configure, assemble and test network equipment (LAN - Switches and Routers) based on customer orders;
• Installing (upgrading/downgrading) required firmware;
• Check measurements of parts using measuring equipment (mechanical, digital);
• Inspecting returned goods;
• Studying and improving work instructions;
• Checking supplied product parts;
• Assembling semi-finished products and/or end products;
• Assessing and reporting product quality;
• Preparing end products for shipment;
• Receiving items;
• Order picking;
• Packing work;
• Cycle count;
• Handling return shipments (RMA’s);
• Making shipment bookings

Job requirements:

• MBO work and thinking level;
• You have technical insight;
• You preferably already have experience in a similar role or from your work experience or your hobby;
• You are customer-oriented and like to go the extra mile for the customer to ensure high quality;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written;
• You are independent and know how to tackle things;
