Job Description

Hello there! Ready to be a vital part of our Front-Office team? We're on the hunt for a Guest Service Pro (Fulltime or Parttime) to join us in the Amsterdam area. You'll be working your magic in 2 shifts from 07:00 to 23:00 hrs, to make sure our guest feel welcome and at home. Are you up for the adventure?

The July BOAT&CO

With 82 flats decorated by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, The July BOAT&CO is setting course to become a hotel to which (inter)national guests keep returning. All flats have luxuriously equipped kitchens, living and working areas. The rooms also reflect Amsterdam's Houthaven; some even literally. Like the penthouse with insane views over the IJ River. The rest of our hotel is just as complete. From the atrium to the terrace and from the spa to the restaurant: everywhere The July BOAT&CO combines international design with Amsterdam charm and hospitality. Which we are also proud of: The July BOAT&CO has a first-class sustainability certificate. Nicely in the style of Houthaven, a 100% climate-neutral neighbourhood.

The Job

As a Guest Service Pro, your day kicks off with a Front Office team meeting, where you brainstorm delightful surprises for the upcoming guests. Whether it's a birthday cake or a personalized touch like an Italian newspaper, you're all about making guests feel special!

As the first point of contact, you share your insider knowledge of Amsterdam, helping guests make the most of their stay. With many long-stay guests, you develop meaningful connections and play a crucial role in creating a homely and memorable experience.

Do you recognize yourself in the following?

  • Your vibrant personality is ready to shine

  • You possess excellent communication skills, in English and/or Dutch

  • You excel independently but also thrive as a team player

  • Previous experience at a hotel reception is a plus

  • Hotel & restaurant perks: Enjoy daily closing drinks, exclusive employee rates for stays at or hotels and a Friends & Family Rate, so you can share the joy with your loved ones. Besides our own locations we also offer the "Hotel Employee Rate", where you can explore the world with discount rates for other hotels

  • Team drinks, events & outings to (never) forget!
