Your primary focus will be commercial contracting. • Manage the full contract lifecycle, from negotiation and signature through filing, renewal and termination.
  • Drive consistency and best practices in contracting processes across the region.

  • Compliance
  • Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of Caldic’s compliance programme across Europe, including policies, training, due diligence, monitoring and reporting.

  • Operations, AI & Process Improvement
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of contract management and legal technology solutions. As part of this, develop and maintain contract templates, clause libraries and negotiation playbooks.
  • Help the team deliver timely, practical legal support by improving workflows, prioritisation and turnaround times.
  • Develop practical legal guidance, training materials and self-service resources for business teams.
  • Improve visibility, control and reporting of legal matters, contractual risks and legal workload across the region.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified as a lawyer in a European jurisdiction.
  • Approximately 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience gained within a reputable law firm and/or international company.
  • Practical experience in commercial contracting, ideally including distribution, manufacturing, framework or master services agreements.
  • Corporate law knowledge or experience is an advantage.
  • Litigation or dispute resolution experience is an advantage.
  • Comfortable using legal technology and AI tools, with an interest in improving legal processes.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Dutch is advantageous but not required.

Personal Characteristics

You are:

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
