Key Skills
Job Description
The engagement We are building a unified property / asset management platform for one of our customers that will operate across multiple European countries. You will join in the initial stages of the project, as the proof of concept transitions into full implementation programme. The environments, the pipelines, the event backbone, the contracts all get built early, and everything else in the programme stands on them. This is the seat where that happens. What you will do Stand the platform up. Graduate a proof-of-concept Azure estate into a proper development, test, and production landing zone: private networking, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and a regression harness other workstreams can utilise. Own the integration backbone. Event streaming and schema registry, an iPaaS layer, the contract envelope and versioning standard, dead-letter and replay. Broaden as the programme does. Identity and single sign-on, security monitoring and the API edge, then, once the foundations hold, further work across core systems. What you bring Strong consultative and communication skills and a get-it-done mentality - you should be able to explain a technical trade-off to a business owner and hold your ground with an architect. Clear spoken and written English is essential. 4-8 years of engineering experience in more than one stack, with real depth in: Azure platform and infrastructure as code Event-driven integration (Kafka or equivalent), patterns, models and flows iPaaS API management Platform security Identity management and SSO Datalakes/lakehouses Working knowledge of at least one of: TypeScript, Python, Java, C# This is deliberately not a one-lane role - a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and the ability to thrive whilst doing so is a pre-requisite for joining our team. Practicalities Netherlands-based with hybrid working and on-site days in Amsterdam or The Hague when they matter. English is the working language.
