A2 Global is a global distributor of electronic components, headquartered in the Tampa Bay area with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. Our internal application development team builds and supports the systems that run the business. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented IT Helpdesk Associate to join our team. This position is hybrid and will require 2 days per week onsite in out Nether lands office. Systems Administrator – Netherlands About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support our global IT operations. This role manages core infrastructure, networks, virtualization, security, and user support for our Netherlands office and international teams. This position is hybrid and will require 2 days per week in office and a rotational weekend of call for IT support （approx. every 4 weeks）. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. Manage virtualization platforms, storage systems, backups, and third-party applications. Oversee network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPN, Wi-Fi, and related services. Provide support for servers, desktops, networking, and telephony systems across the organization. Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system enhancements, and IT projects. Troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms and applications. Implement and maintain security best practices. Document procedures and maintain accurate system records. After hours support, the support equates to about 2 hours on weekends on a 4-week rotation schedule with the IT team. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure support. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365). Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar). Good understanding of networking concepts and how to support them operationally. Hands-on experience with backups, monitoring tools, and routine system maintenance. Familiarity with security principles for servers, networks, and user environments. Ability to support day-to-day IT operations and resolve technical issues efficiently. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation. Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Clear communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative team mindset with the ability to work independently when needed. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Requires at least five years of systems administration or IT infrastructure support experience, with strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and experience with virtualization, networking, backups, monitoring, and system maintenance. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and organizational skills and be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
