Role Description The Investor Relations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Amsterdam. This role is responsible for managing relationships with current and prospective investors in the fund (LPs), including preparing regular reports, presentations, and updates on portfolio performance, strategy, and market developments. The Investor Relations Manager will coordinate investor meetings and roadshows, respond to investor inquiries, and ensure consistent, transparent communication that reflects Gamma Waves Partners’ long-term investment philosophy. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with investment and finance teams to gather and analyze data, preparing financial and narrative materials, supporting capital-raising initiatives, and maintaining investor databases and communication records. The role also involves monitoring developments in sports IP and sports tech, synthesizing insights for investors, and contributing to thought leadership materials that highlight the firm’s positioning in the market. Qualifications Strong expertise in Investor Relations, with experience managing institutional and high-net-worth investor communications. Advanced Analytical Skills with proven ability to interpret complex financial and market data and present clear insights. Solid background in Finance and Investments, ideally within private equity, venture capital, or alternative asset management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to manage multiple projects and deadlines. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information. Interest in or familiarity with the sports, media, or technology sectors is highly beneficial.

Core Responsibilities

Manage relationships and communications with current and prospective fund investors, preparing reports and updates on portfolio performance, strategy, and market developments. Coordinate investor meetings and roadshows, support fundraising, maintain investor records, and develop insights and thought leadership on sports IP and sports technology.

Requirements

Requires strong investor relations experience, financial and investment expertise, and the ability to analyze complex financial and market data and communicate insights clearly. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is required; professionalism, discretion, collaboration, and an interest in sports, media, or technology are also sought.
