Job Description

Job Description Who we are ADC is a European data and AI consultancy with offices in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark, and an award-winning data design studio, CLEVER°FRANKE, embedded in the Group. We are a collective of statisticians, designers, PhDs, and agentic AI engineers with deep expertise in the industries we serve. We work in financial services, life sciences and healthcare, transport, retail, and the public sector. We do not arrive with generic tools and a slide deck. We get in, work alongside the people who know the organisation best, and build solutions that actually run. We call ourselves Wayfinders. Our clients trust us to navigate complexity and make it real. We turn ambition into action in environments where the margin for error is small, and the consequences of getting it wrong are real—for patients, customers, citizens, markets, and institutions. ADC has grown to 180+ team members across the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark on the strength of work our clients came back for. We are proud of that, and honest enough to say it will not be enough on its own to take us where we are going next. Build the demand engine you have always wanted to run The next chapter is bigger: ambitious organic growth, sharper offers, a stronger market presence, and a commercial engine that matches the quality of what we deliver. We are investing in Business Development as a strategic capability, and now we need Marketing to step into a much more central commercial role alongside it. If you have ever sat in a senior Marketing role and thought, “I could build a much better demand engine if I had the mandate to do it properly,” this is that role. You will not inherit a finished playbook. You will join our Group Management Team, lead a lean Marketing function, work directly with the CEO and BD leadership, and shape how a modern data and AI consultancy creates demand, sharpens its offer, and goes to market. This is a strategic role, but it is also a hands-on one. You will set direction and influence the Group’s commercial priorities, but you will also build campaigns, improve systems, sharpen propositions, measure performance, and make the work happen. What You Do Build demand generation that contributes to revenue Design, build, run, measure, and improve the campaigns and programmes that create high-quality demand for ADC’s Business Development team. Build a repeatable, multi-channel demand-generation engine across target accounts, target audiences, LinkedIn, content, paid activity, partnerships, events, website conversion, and Marketing automation. Own the full working rhythm: brief, build, launch, measure, learn, improve, and repeat. Create a practical Marketing-to-BD operating model with clear lead-quality standards, shared hand-offs, campaign follow-up, conversion reporting, and accountability for commercial outcomes. Use data and judgement to stop what is not working, improve what shows promise, and invest more where ADC sees qualified pipeline and commercial return. Sharpen ADC’s offers and how we go to market Lead a clear, useful, and commercially relevant articulation of what ADC offers in our priority markets. Make ADC’s combination of decision science, design, data, and AI legible to senior B2B buyers, while ensuring each practice and sector retains its distinctive edge. Partner with the CEO, BD leadership, Practice Leads, and subject-matter experts to test propositions, refine offers, and build market narratives around what buyers actually need. Lead the Marketing contribution to the redesign of ADC’s website so that it better represents our quality, clarifies our offers, and supports conversion. Bring CLEVER°FRANKE into the Group narrative in a way that strengthens both businesses without compromising the studio’s ability to also go to market in its own right. Make content, thought leadership, and brand earn their keep Build a thought-leadership and content programme that supports both ADC’s reputation and commercial goals. Work with our consultants, PhDs, designers, and AI engineers to find the ideas worth telling and turn them into content that senior buyers want to read, discuss, and act on. Ensure every major content, event, PR, or partnership activity has a clear role in either pipeline creation, proposition development, brand credibility, or all three. Help ADC show up with more consistency, confidence, and quality in the markets where we want to grow. Build the Marketing system that scales with us Bring fragmented or outsourced demand-generation activity into a more coherent in-house model. Build the systems, templates, workflows, reporting, and automation that let ADC launch high-quality campaigns quickly, learn from performance, and improve each cycle. Use HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Marketing automation, attribution, reporting, and conversion tracking to tell activity apart from progress. Use generative and agentic AI as part of daily craft—from content ideation and drafting to audience work, campaign variants, personalisation, reporting, and optimisation. Make thoughtful decisions about what ADC should build internally, what it should outsource, where AI can improve the work, and where we should stop investing. Shape ADC at Group level Sit on the Group Management Team alongside the CEO, COO, CFO, and Business Leaders, bringing a strong market and commercial point of view to ADC’s most important strategic questions. Help design, not just execute, how ADC goes to market as we scale. Build shared Marketing standards across the Netherlands, Nordics, and CLEVER°FRANKE, while respecting the strengths and realities of each business. Be a credible partner to Mentha, our majority shareholder, on ADC’s commercial and market trajectory. What You Bring At ADC, we are not just consultants; we are a collective of data and AI experts who break down complex challenges and change how organisations operate. You will know this is for you if: You have substantial B2B Marketing, Growth, Demand Generation, or Revenue Marketing experience in consulting, professional services, technology, data and AI, enterprise SaaS, or a comparable knowledge-led business. You have a real track record of building programmes that produced qualified leads, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue—not just awareness, engagement, or content volume. You are strategic and hands-on. You can sharpen a proposition, influence senior stakeholders, and decide where to invest, but you are equally comfortable reviewing campaign performance, writing a brief, building a campaign, improving a workflow, and getting the work over the line. You understand complex B2B buying. You have worked with long sales cycles, senior stakeholders, buying committees, and commercial teams that care about quality rather than volume. You build systems, not slide decks. You know what a working demand-generation rhythm looks like, and you are comfortable owning the detail behind it. You think like an editor. You can sit with a brilliant subject-matter expert, find the idea worth telling, and turn it into something senior buyers genuinely want to engage with. You are AI-native or AI-fluent in practice. You use generative and agentic AI tools to improve the quality, speed, and scale of Marketing work. You manage people well. You coach, set a high bar, and create the conditions for colleagues to do their best work. You are a good colleague. Clients tell us our distinctive quality is that we are people they actually enjoy working with. That has to be true of you too. You are fluent in English. What We Offer At ADC, we do not just offer jobs; we offer growth, impact, and a sense of belonging. We empower you to take ownership, build something meaningful, and thrive collectively. Real ownership – you are building this function with us, not inheriting a finished playbook. The demand engine, Marketing operating model, and go-to-market approach are yours to shape. Commercial impact – you will work directly with the CEO, Group Management Team, BD leadership, and Business Leads to influence how ADC grows. A meaningful mandate – you will have the opportunity to build a better demand-generation system, sharpen ADC’s offers, strengthen the brand, redesign the website, and grow Marketing investment as you prove what works. Co-ownership – eligibility for the ADC co-ownership scheme in line with other Group leadership roles, with clear and transparent conditions. A team that takes craft seriously – our standard is craftsmanship at scale, and we notice when work is excellent. A collective culture – daily lunches, Friday drinks, and our annual Collective Week, where we spend time together building, learning, and exploring what is possible. If you believe in building with heart, thrive on collaboration, and want to create a Marketing function that genuinely changes how a data and AI consultancy grows, we want to meet you. For any questions, contact [email protected]. Amsterdam Data Collective is an equal opportunity employer. To shape a better future, we value diversity and promote equality. No characteristics are discriminated against, as indicated in Directive 2000/78/EC. We encourage and welcome all applications.
