  • Handle an expected volume of more than 5,000 words per week while delivering high-quality work on schedule.

  • Communicate proactively with project stakeholders, respond to feedback, and incorporate revisions as needed.

  • Follow project guidelines, terminology requirements, and quality standards throughout the localization process.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced English-to-German language professional with excellent linguistic judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced localization environment. • Excellent command of US English (en-US), with the ability to understand source content accurately and convey its intended meaning in German.

  • At least 2 years of professional translation experience and a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field; alternatively, at least 5 years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.

  • Demonstrated experience translating from English into German across multiple content types, including marketing, product, UI, support, and informational materials.

  • Practical experience using computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, consistent, high-quality translations.

  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while managing a substantial weekly workload.

  • Excellent communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and a willingness to receive and implement feedback.

  • Ability to work independently as a freelance professional while collaborating effectively with a global team.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote freelance opportunity, with work available internationally.

  • Ongoing project with the potential to establish a long-term professional partnership.

  • Expected workload of 5,000+ words per week.
