Job Description

About the role:

Within the Digital Product & Experience team, we focus on continuously improving the digital experience for our guests. We ensure that our websites, apps, and other digital channels are guest-friendly, accessible, and engaging from the initial orientation all the way through to the stay at the park.

As a Product Designer Stay, you play a key role in this digital transformation. You combine creativity with analytical insight and contribute to elevating our digital products to the next level. The core focus for this position lays within our app-experience. While making sure this transformation is happening, you work closely with colleagues in design, development, and product management to deliver a consistent and guest-centric digital experience.

What will you do:

In your role as  Product Designer Stay, you identify opportunities and come up with creative solutions that contribute to the effectivity of the Stay journey team and ultimately, the experience of our guests. You bring a fresh and creative point of view to ensure our guest experience increases. Other user research is always applicable and will be initiated through the Product Owner, with whom you work closely together. You ensure there’s a critical lens to the current Stay experience, therefore a passion for guest oriented products or services is very helpful. Furthermore you are responsible for:

  • Work in an Agile, multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and designers, and clearly presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver end-to-end UX outputs, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs; aligned with UX best practices, accessibility standards, and the design system.
  • Conduct and support qualitative and quantitative user research, translating guest feedback and data into continuous improvements of the customer journey.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of designs across all digital platforms (Web, Email, App) while contributing to the evolution of the UX design system.
  • Stay up to date with industry and UX developments, applying new insights to enhance digital products and the overall guest experience.

In this role, you report to the Director DP&E and work from our office in Amsterdam. We operate in a hybrid setup: partly from the office, partly from home and the occasional park visit. Your primary workplace is our Amsterdam office, and for a full-time role, we expect you to be in the office at least three days per week

This is you:

You are a creative and analytical designer with a sharp eye for detail and strong empathy for the user. You know how to translate complex information into clear and intuitive digital experiences. Furthermore you have:

- Bachelor’s degree level and 4–6 years of relevant experience as a Product Designer.
- Strong research mindset with experience in user research and data-driven design.
- Experience in user-oriented/ hospitality organizations, with an understanding of how design contributes to guest experience.
- Skilled in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and experienced in working with and contributing to design systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Come work with us, as this is what we offer!

Together, we go the extra mile to provide the best possible service to our guests and homeowners. If you take on this challenge with us, you can expect:

  • A one-year contract with a one-month probation period in accordance with the Recreation collective labour agreement, with the intention of offering a permanent contract.
  • A salary between €3,630 and €5,185 gross per month based on a full-time contract*, excluding holiday allowance.
