At Malvern Panalytical, Health & Safety is about more than compliance. It is about creating workplaces where people can work safely, confidently and effectively every day.

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Site Health & Safety Lead to drive Health & Safety performance across one of our key locations. In this highly visible role, you will work closely with site leadership, employees, contractors and regional teams to strengthen safety culture, reduce risk, ensure compliance and support operational excellence across our workplaces.

As part of the local Corporate Services team, you will partner closely with Facilities colleagues to ensure our sites remain safe, compliant and efficient places to work. You will spend time where the work happens, building relationships, influencing decisions and helping embed Health & Safety into everything we do.

While primarily focused on your assigned site, you will also support other Sales & Service locations across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead Health & Safety performance, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with site leadership teams to drive a strong and proactive safety culture.
  • Conduct and maintain risk assessments, hazard identification programmes, workplace inspections and safety observations.
  • Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
  • Provide Health & Safety support to facilities, engineering, laboratory and capital projects, including Management of Change activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Drive contractor safety management and emergency preparedness programmes.
  • Support customer and supplier Health & Safety assessments and compliance enquiries.
  • Monitor Health & Safety performance, reporting, risk registers and implement practical improvements
  • Support Regional Facilities Managers and smaller regional locations to maintain consistent Health & Safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Environmental, Sustainability and Quality teams on site-level compliance activities, including waste and chemical management initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, coach and influencer across all levels of the organisation.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline. Equivalent education, certifications and experience will also be considered.
  • Professional Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, ASP, OHST, CHST, HVK, MVK or equivalent. Candidates working towards certification are encouraged to apply.
  • 5+ years of Health & Safety experience within manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, industrial or technical environments
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • The ability to influence, engage, build credibility and drive change across all levels of an organisation without direct authority.
  • A practical, hands-on mindset combined with strong organisational and communication skills.

Why join us?
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a global technology organisation where safety, wellbeing and operational excellence are fundamental to our success.

You will be trusted to make decisions, influence leaders and deliver meaningful improvements that protect our people and support business performance. You will collaborate with diverse teams across multiple countries and make a visible impact every day.

If you are passionate about creating safer workplaces, influencing positive change and helping people perform at their best, we'd love to hear from you.
