About the job Questomatica in Amsterdam is looking for a new host/game master. This position is compatible with a student schedule as our busiest hours are often afternoons, evenings and weekends. Company Description: Questomatica Escape Experiences is an international team in Amsterdam that creates real-life escape room experiences using a mixture of technology and gaming to create an immersive adventure. Our rooms surprise teams, challenge their creative thinking and provide quality time for families, friends and also colleagues. Questomatica currently offers two unique escape experiences: WakeUp! and Arcade Invasion in the Nemo museum area. What are we looking for? You are social, friendly and enthusiastic person! You feel comfortable talking in front of a group. Easily adaptable to different scenarios and unexpected situations. Creativity skills would be a plus to help enhance the immersive experience for players. You are available to start shortly, willing to learn quickly and become part of our team of game masters. It is not an office-hours job: our schedule depends on bookings, where majority happen in the evenings and weekends. You can work less during your exam weeks if needed and use office space for studying. Requirements: - available to start the training in 2 weeks maximum. - fluent in English, both verbal and written - Dutch is a big plus - resident in Amsterdam (15-30 min distance from the office) - social team player and committed co-worker - customer service experience is a plus - available to work 8 to 20 hours a week - available to work around New Year. Holidays can be taken in the beginning of December or in January. - flexible availability, a last-minute booking can come in during your shift. It takes about 30 hours of training before you become a game master of both of our escape rooms (Wake Up! and Arcade Invasion). Requirements

Applicants should be social, friendly, enthusiastic, comfortable speaking to groups, and fluent in written and spoken English; Dutch and customer service experience are advantages. They must be based within 15–30 minutes of the Amsterdam office, able to start training within two weeks, work 8–20 hours weekly with flexible evening and weekend availability, and be available around New Year.
