Webinar and Partnerships Lead (freelance)
Key Skills
Job Description
Webinar and Partnerships Lead (freelance) The short version Webinars are how many sustainability teams first meet Dazzle. We want to grow them from one to four a month, and we are looking for the person who makes that happen. You own the topics, the speakers, the partners and the live sessions. You get the right people on stage, make every session worth showing up for, and keep the whole machine honest. About Dazzle Dazzle is the new way of hiring sustainability talent. We match in-house sustainability teams with senior freelance experts on EcoVadis, CSRD, CDP, Scope 3, SBTi, LCA, EUDR and CBAM. Our network has 300+ curated experts, and only the top 10% of applicants get in. More than 150 in-house sustainability teams have worked with us. Our clients are usually small teams of one to three people, carrying more sustainability work than they can handle, at companies across the EU, the UK, the US and Japan. Our webinars give them straight answers from people who have done the work. For us, they are where many good conversations start. What a Dazzle webinar looks like Robert, our founder, is the host and the face of every session. Each webinar has an expert from our network on it, ideally alongside a client or prospect who has been through the problem themselves. Some sessions are educational with a deck, some are panels without slides, and we are adding a lighter format: a 30-minute expert clinic with one expert. We prefer broad topics over very niche ones. They reach more people and lead to more conversations. The plan January and February: four a month, run as series, plus a test of a second time slot for the US. March and April: double down on what works and scale it. What you will own The roadmap. You choose the topic, the niche and the format, and you can explain why. The outline goes into Notion three to five weeks ahead, signed off by Robert. Everything the agents build starts from it. The speakers. You find them, vet them and prepare them. You judge whether someone is strong enough on substance and on camera, and you run the prep calls. Speaker promotion. Every speaker gets a ready-made post, a DM text and their own registration link. You make sure they actually use them. Quality control. The agents set up the Zoom webinar, the HubSpot event and lists, the landing and thank-you pages, the email sequence and the Canva visuals. You check it all; Robert approves the emails. LinkedIn. You create the LinkedIn Event and send the invitations. No agent can do this yet. Attendance. You collect questions from registrants in advance and line up a bonus for people who join live. The day itself. A run-through with panellists, a tech check, and on air you run Zoom and the polls while Robert hosts. Over time you can take on part of the hosting. Wrap-up. You thank the speakers and check that the outcome page, follow-up lists and recording emails are done, and that Robert, Daniel and Uriël have their follow-up lists. Lead magnet. An agent drafts a resource from the transcript; you get the expert to review it. Partnerships Co-hosts. You bring in partners who serve the same clients without competing with us, such as software vendors and industry associations. Co-host logistics. Who emails which list, when, and with which link. A full speaker pipeline. Four sessions a month means around 48 speakers a year, so fresh faces matter. You draw on our clients, new freelancers and your own network. Week to week Review the automated weekly overview in Notion (registrations, show-up rate, attendees, meetings from webinars) and flag anything unusual to Surya. Spot gaps or errors in what the agents produce and get them fixed. Check blog posts from our SEO partner against our checklist (answer-first, FAQ schema, internal link, CTA) when the agent flags one as doubtful. Monthly: align with our web developer on forms and SEO fixes, check in with the SEO partner, and plan the next month's sessions, speakers and partners. Now and then: ask finished clients for Google reviews and case studies, and help our experts with requests around webinars and content. You will fit if you Have at least 4 years of organising and hosting B2B webinars, from topic to follow-up. Know sustainability and ESG (CSRD, SBTi, EcoVadis) well enough to vet a speaker and talk to experts as a peer. Know the market and the people in it. You know who is a good speaker, and you can call them and get a yes. Have built partnerships with organisations that serve the same audience. Think in roadmaps: which topic, for which niche, when, and why. Have a "give it to me" attitude. You take the whole webinar process off the team's plate. Enjoy working with AI agents and check their output with a critical eye. Speak fluent English and Dutch. Live in or near Amsterdam. Nice to have: your own network of sustainability speakers, experience with HubSpot and Zoom Webinars, and experience building a community. Probably not for you if you are looking for a junior role or a task list. We want someone who asks why, not only how. And if you would rather build than oversee, this is not the role.
