Client Support Specialist
Key Skills
Job Description
We’re looking for a Client Support Specialist to join our team and help existing customers get the most out of the platform. We’re looking for high performers who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working closely with clients. At Cobase, we help companies take back control of their banking and treasury operations. Many mid-sized and large businesses manage multiple banks, dozens of accounts, and complex finance structures across countries, currencies, and entities. It’s inefficient and hard to manage. That’s where we come in. Cobase offers a single platform where finance teams handle payments, cash management, and treasury processes, fully connected to their ERP or accounting system. No more switching between portals or spreadsheets. We work with international corporates, growing groups, and private equity-backed companies that want to simplify financial operations and increase control. The role: owning critical moments for our clients In this role, you’re not just answering tickets. You’re helping customers move money, resolve time-sensitive issues, and keep their financial operations running without disruption. When something breaks or doesn’t go as planned, you step in, take control, and get it fixed. In this role, you’ll work directly with Finance teams to support more complex use cases, guide platform adoption and expansion, and help resolve issues as they arise. The role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and client success. What you will do: Act as the first point of contact for customer questions and support requests Take ownership of payment-related issues from start to resolution Troubleshoot bank connections, payment flows, and platform usage Coordinate with product and engineering on complex or time-critical cases Guide customers in using the platform effectively and confidently Spot patterns, prevent recurring issues, and improve how we support clients What we are looking for: Someone who enjoys solving problems under pressure and getting things done Clear communicator with a structured approach Result-oriented with a strong can-do mentality Fluent in English and Dutch Comfortable with tech, banking, or finance tools Able to explain complex topics in a simple, practical way Experience in payments, fintech, banking, or SaaS support is a strong plus Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for customer questions, take payment-related issues from initial report through resolution, and troubleshoot bank connections, payment flows, and platform usage. Coordinate complex or urgent cases with product and engineering, guide customers in using the platform, and identify recurring issues to improve support.
Requirements
The role calls for a clear, structured communicator who is results-oriented, comfortable solving problems under pressure, and able to explain complex topics simply. Fluency in English and Dutch and comfort with technology, banking, or finance tools are expected; experience in payments, fintech, banking, or SaaS support is a plus, as is a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
