Customer Success Manager (Tellent HR)
Key Skills
Job Description
Join our new Tellent HR squad and help shape the customer experience from the ground up. You’ll own the full customer journey, from onboarding and adoption through retention and growth, while helping us build the playbooks, processes, and ways of working the squad will scale on. Most of your time is spent with customers, with space to develop strategy and improve how we work. If you’re energised by ambiguity and want to build something meaningful in a growing SaaS business, this is for you. Your 12-Month Journey During the first 3 months: Learn the product and our customers, build internal relationships, and start one-to-one customer conversations to understand your portfolio’s value and risk. Within 6 months: Independently manage a customer portfolio across onboarding, adoption, renewals, and health, and contribute to repeatable processes and reporting. After 1 year: Become a trusted expert in the Tellent HR customer journey and help move us toward scalable, one-to-many programmes. What You’ll Be Doing Own the customer journey: Guide customers through onboarding, adoption, renewal, and growth so they get real value from Tellent HR. Manage health and risk: Spot early warning signs, build action plans for at-risk customers, and handle escalations with the right internal support. Drive retention and growth: Own the CS activities behind GRR and NRR, and pass qualified cross-sell and upsell leads to Sales. Build from scratch: Help create playbooks, processes, reporting, forecasting, and tooling for the new squad. Scale our approach: Start high-touch and one-to-one, then help develop one-to-many programmes as patterns emerge. Collaborate: Work closely with Onboarding, Customer Success, Product, Support, and Sales, and bring customer feedback and market insights back to the business. What You Bring Experience in a customer-facing B2B SaaS role (Customer Success, Account Management, Onboarding, Implementation, or similar) and an understanding of how value, retention, and growth connect. A balance of hands-on execution and strategic thinking, in a role that is primarily customer-facing. Confidence handling escalations and bringing the right people together.
