Your role as Associate Director, Strategy & Transformation We are looking for a seasoned strategy and transformation consultant ready to step into a senior client-facing role with real ownership. You will lead complex, multi-workstream engagements for large enterprises - from strategy through to execution - while building trusted relationships at C-suite and senior leadership level. This is a delivery-first role with a clear commercial dimension. What you’ll be working on You will step into an active portfolio of senior client engagements, leading complex transformation programmes from strategy through to execution. In practice, this includes: Leading enterprise IT strategy and technology roadmap development, working directly with CIO and CTO-level stakeholders Driving enterprise transformation programmes end to end, including programme governance, KPI and OKR management, and executive-level reporting Leading organisational change and communications for large-scale programmes where stakeholder alignment and adoption are critical Supporting portfolio prioritisation and investment decisions, helping technology leaders turn strategy into a governed, executable roadmap Owning a personal origination target: identifying, qualifying and closing new opportunities with new and existing clients Leading pursuits end to end, from shaping the proposition through scoping and pricing to contract negotiation Growing a portfolio of accounts, turning delivery relationships into follow-on and expanded work Acting as primary point of contact for senior client relationships, managing several engagements at once while maintaining quality and client satisfaction Helping clients put AI to work in their strategy and transformation agendas Leading, mentoring and developing the consultant teams working alongside you Shaping Riverflex’s practice through new propositions, methodology development and thought leadership Who you are 9–12 years in top-tier consulting or a related field, with a strong track record in IT strategy or technology transformation A proven originator, with a track record of winning new business and owning a sales target Strong on enterprise IT strategy, application strategy or technology operating model design Proven experience with CIO, CTO or equivalent technology leaders as primary stakeholders, not just business-side executives Comfortable leading engagements and pursuits independently at senior level: you hold the room without a director behind you A strategist with a hands-on affinity for AI, who uses it in your own work and can explain its business value to executives Strong communicator in English (C1 minimum) Willing to travel as needed EU-eligible or open to a Dutch highly skilled migrant visa (we sponsor); 30% ruling support available What we offer A competitive compensation package. 25 days off per year, plus a full week off between Christmas and New Year. Core Responsibilities

Lead complex enterprise IT strategy and transformation engagements from strategy through execution, including governance, change management, executive reporting, and technology roadmaps. Originate and close new business, grow client accounts, lead and develop consultant teams, and contribute to the firm’s propositions and thought leadership.

Requirements

Candidates should have 9–12 years of experience in top-tier consulting or a related field, with a strong track record in IT strategy or technology transformation and proven success winning new business. They should be experienced with CIO- or CTO-level stakeholders, able to lead engagements independently, have a practical understanding of AI, communicate in English at C1 level or higher, and be willing to travel; EU eligibility or openness to a sponsored Dutch highly skilled migrant visa is required.
