As a Kitchen Breakfast Assistant at Generator Amsterdam, you’ll help kick-start our guests’ day by preparing and delivering a fresh, delicious breakfast and lunch experience. Working closely with our Kitchen and F&B teams, you’ll ensure our breakfast and lunch service runs smoothly, food quality remains high, and our guests start their mornings right. WHY GENERATOR? What You’ll Do Prepare, set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring excellent presentation, freshness and quality throughout service. Assist with basic food preparation, including hot and cold breakfast items, as well as lunch service Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen and breakfast area, following HACCP and food safety procedures. Support the Kitchen and F&B teams with stock rotation, deliveries, cleaning and efficient daily breakfast operations. Naturally organised, with a keen eye for cleanliness, presentation and detail. Reliable, proactive and happy to roll up your sleeves wherever help is needed. Passionate about good food and creating a great experience for our guests. Your Experience Previous experience in a kitchen, breakfast service or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently during busy breakfast periods while maintaining quality and cleanliness. Good communication skills in English and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Previous kitchen, breakfast service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential; basic food preparation, hygiene, and food safety knowledge is expected. Candidates should be reliable, organized team players with good English communication skills and flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
