Job Description

As an IAM Software Engineer, you’ll work on the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of secure, user-friendly Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions. You’ll work on complex projects that impact critical systems. Collaborating with a motivated team, you’ll have the autonomy to solve technical challenges, grow your expertise across the software development lifecycle, and contribute to resilient, high-impact cybersecurity solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS IAM SOFTWARE ENGINEER

  • Analyse and break down customer requirements, incidents, and problems.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems, ensuring seamless integration with client environments.
  • Collaborate daily with the team to execute work items, focusing on delivering key features and addressing technical challenges within each sprint.
  • Validate all development increments, testing, and deploying to acceptance and production environments to ensure quality and security.
  • Contribute feedback and insights with cross-functional teams to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential (security) issues within the IAM system, providing solutions that prevent disruptions and enhance overall system performance.

THE IMPACT YOU'LL HAVE

As a Software Engineer in the IAM field, you will play a pivotal role in shaping secure, user-friendly solutions that protect sensitive data and ensure smooth access for clients. By collaborating with colleagues, you’ll drive innovation and efficiency while directly impacting customers' digital security. Your contributions will not only enhance organizational resilience but also strengthen society’s cybersecurity, safeguarding both individual privacy and corporate integrity in an increasingly digital world.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Skills: Take initiative, work in a structured manner, and communicate clearly. Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and effective time management are key. Furthermore, ideally, you would have a solid grasp of relational databases (SQL), Windows operating systems, proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and writing clear documentation. Experience with C#, CI/CD tools, Azure DevOps, and an understanding of software security principles would be a great addition, along with familiarity with Scrum, Omada Identity, Microsoft Entra, and/or Azure infrastructure.
  • Languages: A fluency level equivalent to C1 in English and B2 in Dutch or higher, both written and verbal.
