Job Description

Delft Imaging Systems is a leading provider of innovative medical imaging solutions and healthcare technologies. Our expertise spans digital X-ray systems, artificial intelligence, ultrasound imaging, and mobile healthcare solutions. Our flagship product, CAD4TB, uses AI-powered chest X-ray analysis to support tuberculosis screening and detection worldwide. Building on this expertise, we are expanding into ultrasound-based AI solutions, including BabyChecker, which enables accessible prenatal screening to improve maternal healthcare, and LUS4TB, which explores AI-assisted lung ultrasound for tuberculosis detection. Operating in over 85 countries, we collaborate with governments, non-profit organizations, healthcare institutions, and United Nations agencies to implement sustainable screening programs. By combining medical imaging, artificial intelligence, and practical healthcare innovations, we aim to make quality diagnostics accessible to underserved populations worldwide. Working closely with our AI development, software engineering, and clinical teams, you will help translate technical capabilities into practical healthcare solutions. A key part of your role will involve engaging directly with healthcare professionals and users in the field, understanding their workflows and challenges, and ensuring that our products address real-world needs. Collaborate closely with AI researchers, software developers, and clinical teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Actively contribute to technical discussions and development decisions, ensuring alignment between product requirements and implementation. Engage directly with healthcare professionals, customers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, workflows, and challenges. Conduct field visits in relevant markets to evaluate product usability, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement. Identify new applications and opportunities for innovation within the POCUS portfolio. Monitor developments in medical imaging, artificial intelligence, ultrasound technology, and the broader healthcare market. Support product validation, deployment, and continuous improvement in collaboration with relevant teams. Contribute to other products and projects within Delft AI when relevant. Educational background and skills Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable product-focused role within the medical technology industry. Good understanding of software development processes and the ability to engage in technical discussions with development teams. Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex user and technical requirements into actionable product decisions. Proactive, independent, and comfortable taking ownership of product development and priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, knowledge of Spanish or French is an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally to engage with users, customers, and healthcare professionals. Preferred qualifications Experience with ultrasound, POCUS, diagnostic imaging, or AI-enabled medical devices. Familiarity with AI-based medical image analysis and its practical applications. Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and development processes. Experience working with healthcare professionals or deploying medical technologies in resource-limited settings.
