🎨 Painting Inspector FROSIO or equivalent – Client Representative 📍 Rotterdam, Netherlands (On-site role) 📅 Start date: 9th November (on-site) ⏳ Contract: 2 months with possible extension 💶 Daily rate: 450 EUR/day (all-in) 💻 Laptop and PPE provided by the Client. 🏠 Accommodation not included, but we can provide a contact for a landlord offering rooms at a reasonable price. 🔍 Scope of Work Quality inspection and surveillance of surface preparation and coating activities 🛠️ Responsibilities • Perform inspections of surface preparation, including cleanliness, surface profile, and environmental conditions prior to coating application • Verify compliance with approved coating procedures, paint specifications, and manufacturers' technical data sheets • Inspect coating application activities, including primer, intermediate, and final coats • Measure and verify dry film thickness (DFT) and, where applicable, wet film thickness (WFT) • Monitor environmental conditions, including temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and steel surface temperature • Perform visual inspections to identify coating defects, surface contamination, and non-conformities • Review coating documentation, including inspection records, paint batch certificates, and material traceability • Liaise with the Contractor's coating/QC team regarding inspection findings and required corrective actions • Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports and maintain records in the project's quality tracking system • Support final coating inspections, load-out inspections, and final documentation review 📋 Requirements • Painting/coating inspection certification (e.g. FROSIO Level III, AMPP/NACE CIP Level 2 or equivalent) • Experience in offshore fabrication, heavy steel structures, or offshore wind projects • VCA is needed (we will help you to book a training if needed) • Good English communication skills 🎁 We Provide ✈️ Laptop (PC) 🦺 PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) ✅ Simple recruitment process – no unnecessary HR interviews 📩 We encourage you to apply! Core Responsibilities

Inspect and monitor surface preparation and coating activities, verifying compliance with approved procedures, specifications, and technical data sheets. Measure coating thickness, monitor environmental conditions, document findings, coordinate corrective actions with the contractor, and support final and load-out inspections.

Requirements

Requires a painting or coating inspection certification such as FROSIO Level III, AMPP/NACE CIP Level 2, or equivalent, plus experience in offshore fabrication, heavy steel structures, or offshore wind projects. VCA certification and good English communication skills are required; training can be arranged if needed.
