In that case, our role as Service Technician (Service & Commissioning Engineer) might be the challenge you are looking for! As a Service & Commissioning Engineer at Meyn, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and optimization of our poultry processing equipment at customer sites around the world. You will focus on software and electrical related tasks - or a combination of these. You will work closely with other field engineers and local operators, maintenance & quality staff from our customers to ensure smooth start-up and operation of our machines. What will you do? Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines. Perform electrical or software-related fine-tuning and troubleshooting. Execute modifications and overhauls, including start-up after changes. Provide basic instructions and training to local operators and maintenance staff. Collaborate with site coordinators and other engineers to ensure safe and efficient execution. Work according to Meyn’s safety and hygiene policies. Report working hours and expenses accurately. What do you bring? A completed education in Electrical or Software Engineering or equivalent experience. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics. Be able to read and understand electrical schematics Be able to read and understand structured text in PLC and make small adjustments Be able to read and understand ladder diagrams in PLC and make small adjustments Good command of English (any other language is a plus). Willingness to travel internationally for periods of up to 4 weeks. A flexible, service-oriented mindset and strong communication skills. A valid driver’s license. What We Offer Base salary between € 3.389,00 - € 4.800,00 depending on education and working experience. Core Responsibilities

Install, commission, optimize, modify, and troubleshoot poultry processing equipment at customer sites worldwide, focusing on electrical and/or software tasks. Coordinate with field engineers and customer staff, provide basic training, follow safety and hygiene policies, and accurately report hours and expenses.

Requirements

Applicants need education in Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, and must be able to interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and PLC structured text and ladder diagrams, including making small adjustments. They must have good English, a valid driver’s license, a flexible and service-oriented approach, willingness to travel internationally for up to four weeks at a time, and already live in the Netherlands.
