We are hiring: Investment Analyst, Amsterdam
 

 

Dynamic Credit is looking for an Investment Analyst for the Amsterdam office to join our Portfolio Management Team. The team currently manages over EUR 10 billion in both residential and buy-to-let mortgages as well as a portfolio of consumer loans. We offer a steep learning curve and the opportunity to work closely with the other analysts and portfolio managers as a full member of the team.  

You will be involved in a variety of projects, ranging from valuation of mortgage portfolios and performance reporting to running models and preparing client pitch presentations. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to be the point of contact for large institutional investors and manage investor queries.  

Please note that even though our company is international, for this position we are looking exclusively for people fluent in Dutch, due to the nature of the investment product and markets relevant to the role.   

How your skills will be challenged:
 

 

• Supporting portfolio managers and analysts in daily tasks  

• Creating detailed portfolio performance reports for clients  

• Researching market developments and contributing to quarterly updates  

• Assisting in the sales process and the setup of asset management mandates  

• Pricing of mortgage products  

• Maintaining and enhancing valuation models 

• Managing operational investment processes   

• Having the opportunity to initiate projects and improvements  

What the ideal candidate looks like: 
 

 

• Fluent in Dutch and English (both a must for this role) 
• Valid resident permit for the Netherlands

• Quantitative orientation   

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, econometrics or equivalent   

• Excellent oral and written communication skills   

• Strong analytical skills to understand the complexities of our business   

• Independent thinker, able to challenge viewpoints   

• Experience with Excel   

• Knowledge of VBA / SQL / R / Python is a plus 

• Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. large language models) and an interest in using them to improve and automate processes
