Job Description

Introduction to the job

At ASML, every tool must be available at the right place and the right time to support the production of the world's most advanced lithography systems. As a Tool Center Wave Planner – Tool Cabin, you play a vital role in maintaining a stable and efficient flow of tools that enables factory operations to run smoothly.

This position is part of Logistics Operations and is located directly within the Tool Center cleanroom environment. Unlike a traditional office-based planning role, you will work closely with operational teams and maintain direct visibility of daily activities on the shopfloor.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly developing planning capability where you can make an immediate impact on daily operations while helping shape future ways of working.

Role and responsibilities

As a Tool Center Wave Planner – Tool Cabin, you maintain an end-to-end overview of tool flows and support the daily execution of operational priorities. You work closely with operators, coordinators, team leads, and planners to create stability, improve flow, and ensure operational continuity.

You will:

  • Monitor workload, demand, and delivery performance across the Tool Center operation.
  • Prioritize and release work based on operational needs, capacity, and business priorities.
  • Coordinate workload balancing across shifts and work areas to support stable operations.
  • Monitor tool movement and operational progress, identifying planning deviations and risks.
  • Manage planning exceptions, urgent requests, and changing priorities while maintaining overall flow stability.
  • Analyze operational bottlenecks and recommend improvements to planning performance and execution.
  • Support the implementation of standardized planning processes, work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education and experience

To be successful as a Tool Center Wave Planner – Tool Cabin, you bring operational planning knowledge together with a practical understanding of logistics and shopfloor execution.

  • Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, manufacturing support, production control, or operational planning environments.
  • Experience working in a high-tech operational or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems, including SAP Extended Warehouse Management, is an advantage.
  • Experience using data analysis and operational performance reporting to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying process improvements and solving operational challenges.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
