Overview

The Technical Sales Specialist will drive business growth and market penetration for Revvity’s Liquid Handling, Automation across Benelux, Denmark, Norway, and Iceland and Omni Homogenization portfolios in North Europe.

In this hybrid commercial and technical role, you will serve as technical sales specialist for Revvity’s automated liquid handling and microfluidic solutions and the Omni High Throughput Homogenizer portfolio, driving direct technical sales across the territory. You will bridge the gap between complex laboratory workflows and commercial execution, transforming customer requirements into tailored automated solutions.

Your Mission

  • Consultative & Technical Selling: Conduct technical presentations, workflow evaluations, and on-site customer visits to translate complex lab needs into tailored liquid handling and automation solutions.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline management and revenue forecasting in Salesforce (SFDC) to enable data-driven business decisions.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), principal investigators, lab managers, and procurement teams in academia, pharma, biotech, and clinical diagnostic sectors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Field Application Specialists (FAS), service teams, product managers, and regional marketing to ensure seamless pre-sales technical support and post-sales customer satisfaction.
  • Market & Account Mapping: Identify emerging applications, key decisionmakers, and high-value target accounts across assigned territories.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Revvity at regional conferences, trade shows, and industry workshops to strengthen brand presence and generate qualified leads.

Your Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Technical & Hands-On Experience: Direct practical experience with automated liquid handling platforms, lab automation, microfluidics, or sample preparation workflows gained through hands-on bench experience, field application support, or a technical sales role.
  • Commercial Mindset: Demonstrated sales acumen or strong drive to transition hands-on technical expertise into a high-impact technical sales role; experience managing distributor relationships or indirect sales channels is a strong asset.
  • Portfolio Knowledge: Solid understanding of liquid handling, lab automation solutions, nucleic acid and/or protein workflows & analysis or tissue homogenization techniques.
  • Soft Skills: Results-driven self-starter with strong negotiation skills, commercial agility, and the ability to operate independently within an international matrix organization.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English. Proficiency in Dutch, French, or a Scandinavian language is a strong advantage.
  • Travel: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% across Benelux, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and occasionally across broader Europe.

Core Responsibilities
