We are looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) in our Local Finance team at our location in Amsterdam.

What you can look forward to as Senior Accountant (m/f/d) Local Finance:
- Manage operational accounting activities for seven Dutch holding entities, including key group companies managing €16 billion in assets and group financing activities
- Coordinate and execute month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and submit IFRS reporting in line with group and divisional requirements and deadlines
- Support statutory, legal, and regulatory reporting under Dutch GAAP, including submissions to external authorities
- Maintain and optimize accounting master data and processes within SAP.
- Ensure compliance with the Internal Control System (ICS) through control execution, monitoring, and evidence reporting
- Review VAT declarations and filings while supporting external audits and financial statement reviews
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, Tax, Controlling, and HR, while supporting planning, forecasting, and management reporting activities
Your profile as Accountant (m/f/d) Local Finance:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or a similar field
- Several years of work experience in Accounting, Tax and/or Controlling
- Strong knowledge in IFRS
- Experience in local GAAP (Netherlands) is preferred
- Fluent Dutch and English language skills, oral and written. German would be a plus
- Strong analytic and communication skills and an independent way of work in a quickly changing environment
