Royal IHC is looking for an experienced Project Manager Product Development within the Technology & Innovation department. Rather than managing traditional vessel or customer projects, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative products and technologies, taking them from concept towards successful implementation. Working from the vision, budget and functional requirements defined by the Product Owner, you take responsibility for organising and driving the development process. Together with multidisciplinary teams, you ensure that products and technologies progress from concept and development through to successful implementation. Because these developments can be relevant to multiple Product Market Groups and Business Units, you will work across organisational boundaries. You bring together Technology, Engineering, Product Management, Business Development and other stakeholders, creating alignment and keeping the development process moving forward. Why this role? Your responsibilities Lead product development and technology projects from concept through implementation. Translate the Product Owner’s vision, functional requirements and business objectives into a clear development plan. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams involving engineering, technology, product and business stakeholders. Manage project scope, planning, budget, resources, risks and deliverables. Create alignment between technical, commercial and operational stakeholders. Identify dependencies and opportunities for collaboration across products, Product Market Groups and Business Units. Monitor progress and proactively address risks, issues and changes. Prepare and present project proposals, progress updates and decision papers to the Project Board and senior management. Ensure that developed products and technologies meet the required quality, performance and compliance standards. Drive projects towards successful implementation within the agreed scope, timeline and budget. Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field. At least three years of relevant experience in product development, technology development or technical engineering projects. Experience coordinating or leading multidisciplinary teams. Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills. Able to bring structure to technically complex development projects and keep different stakeholders aligned. Pragmatic, proactive and results-oriented. Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus. Experience within maritime, offshore, defence, aerospace, automotive or another complex engineering environment is advantageous. Royal IHC offers you: A salary between €5700 and €8565 gross per month, plus 8% holiday allowance. Core Responsibilities

Lead product and technology development projects from concept through implementation, translating the Product Owner’s vision and business objectives into plans while managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables. Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders across business units, report progress and decisions to senior leadership, and ensure products meet quality, performance, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or a related technical field is required, along with at least three years of relevant experience in product or technology development or technical engineering projects. Candidates should have experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, strong stakeholder and communication skills, and the ability to structure complex projects; fluency in English is required, while Dutch and experience in complex engineering industries are advantageous.
