Føn currently holds offices in The Netherlands, Norway, UK, Poland and Taiwan. The offshore wind operations are headquartered in IJmuiden, The Netherlands. We are experiencing an increased demand for our services in offshore wind and are looking to expand our team of Project Managers will multiple positions. The positions are based in IJmuiden (NL) and remote working solutions will not be considered. Purpose and scope of the position As a Project Manager, you will be overseeing and delivering projects, from providing input during the commercial process, coordinating preparations and mobilization of resources, through to the safely, on-time and within budget completion of the project life cycle. You will work closely with senior management colleagues, external contractors and customers alike, whereby you are directly responsible for all aspects of project execution and completion as per internal and external safety and quality standards. The position reports to Project Director of Offshore Wind Services. Qualifications, requirements and desired characteristics: Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in project management with at least 3-5 years track record Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Safety Checklist Contractors degree (VCA Vol) Knowledge of Dutch and English Willing to travel and/or work abroad for short periods of time (mobilization/ demobilization of project) Project Management Lead, coordinate, and take ownership of project deliverables from initiation to close-out. Develop and maintain structured project plans, including tasks, schedules, and resource allocation. Define clear project objectives, scope, success criteria, and ensure alignment with business goals. Manage and facilitate project risk reviews and implement mitigation plans. Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including collaboration with external suppliers and partners. Serve as a key interface between customers, internal stakeholders, and management. Prepare and manage work instructions, work packages, and procurement activities. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and regulatory standards. Establish and maintain project governance, reporting structures, and status updates. Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies (e.g., stage gates, dashboards, risk registers). Capture and share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across future projects. Quality Management Use the NCR management system and monitor open actions. Provide comprehensive requirements across functions. Ensure compliance with competency, training, and capacity requirements. Take ownership of coordination activities within project execution. Collaborate with teams to share lessons learned and optimize project flow. Commercial Management Actively work on identifying and selling new orders. Monthly verification of OPS results and oversee actions. Manage the status of the P&L. Manage forecast on expected revenue, billing, and margins. Provide and manage essential financial input on monthly reports. Leadership Proactively manage customer and stakeholder relationships. Monitor and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Demonstrate problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical skills. Collaborate and motivate teams within an operational and matrix environment. Core Responsibilities

Lead projects from commercial input and preparation through mobilization, execution, and close-out, ensuring safe, timely, on-budget delivery that meets quality and contractual requirements. Coordinate teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders while managing project plans, risks, performance, quality actions, financial forecasts, and personnel.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of project management experience and knowledge of project management methods and tools. Candidates need strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, a VCA Vol safety certificate, Dutch and English proficiency, and willingness to travel or work abroad for short periods.
