We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated Technical Application Specialist Odoo who loves a fast-paced environment and knows how to get things done. In this role, you will act as the crucial link between our business processes and our Odoo ERP platform, ensuring our digital infrastructure is continuously optimized to support our global growth. What will you do Core Responsibilities & Duties Efficiently set up, configure, and maintain Odoo modules to align perfectly with our fast-moving business workflows. Analyze requests from various departments, translate them into smart functional designs, and implement them directly within Odoo. Act as the primary, professional point of contact for internal users, resolving system issues swiftly to prevent operational bottlenecks. Manage user access rights, automated actions, data quality, and system workflows with an immaculate eye for detail. Proactively create user manuals and conduct training sessions to ensure smooth onboarding and high adoption across the team. Test new updates, releases, and custom apps, collaborating closely with external technical partners when deep customization is required. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Error-free configuration and swift resolution of system issues to support uninterrupted business operations. Punctual and proactive implementation of automated actions and features that drive efficiency across departments. Proactive, structured, and fast follow-up on internal user queries and technical challenges. Job Requirements & Qualifications We value a proven MBO/HBO working and thinking level characterized by strong logical reasoning, structured execution, and rapid problem-solving skills. Relevant experience as an Application Manager, Functional Consultant, or Product Owner with deep knowledge of Odoo. A proactive "can-do" mentality with the energy and capability to thrive under pressure and hit targets in a fast-growing international environment. Must be living in the Netherlands, ideally within commuting distance of the Rotterdam area. Technical Knowledge & Skills Excellent professional communication skills in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory, as you will interact globally. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus. Strong proficiency in Odoo’s architecture, studio app, and automated workflows. Ability to pick up new digital tools rapidly is essential. Working knowledge of Python (Odoo's core language) and Agile methodologies is a plus Soft Skills & Competencies Highly organized with a structured approach when handling system settings, configurations, and data structures. Doesn't wait around for instructions; identifies system improvements and immediately drives them to resolution. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate confidently across different company departments and technical cultures. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Relevant experience as an Application Manager, Functional Consultant, or Product Owner, with deep knowledge of Odoo, is required; the role calls for strong logical reasoning, organization, and proactive problem-solving. Professional English communication and residence in the Netherlands are required; Python and Agile knowledge are a plus, and Dutch is an advantage.
