Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1.End-to-end operation of dangerous goods warehouse Act as the primary on-site accountable person; design slotting plan, optimize inventory turnover and warehouse fill rate, build & iterate SOPs, reduce order errors and improve service performance. Manage daily alignment, KPI tracking and corrective actions with our key incumbent suppliers. Negotiate firmly while maintaining good communication to enforce our service standards and drive remediation. Ensure full compliance with Dutch and EU regulations for dangerous goods storage, site safety, inspection and emergency procedures. Prepare regular operation reports, identify bottlenecks and drive improvement initiatives, align closely with headquarters. 2.Supplier development & customer relationship management Source, evaluate and onboard new logistics & warehousing suppliers to diversify our supplier base and reduce reliance on dominant vendors. Organize and conduct customer visits, site tours and communication, collect feedback and resolve customer concerns. 3.Digital & WMS implementation lead (local side) Serve as the local focal point for HQ digital projects; coordinate between HQ IT team and local Dutch system vendors. Lead WMS rollout, process adaptation, user training and issue resolution on site, connect system functions with real warehouse workflows. Maintain good digital literacy and MS Office skills. 4.Ad-hoc tasks assigned by HQ and NL branch management. Requirements Proven hands-on experience managing dangerous goods warehouse within EU; solid knowledge of Dutch / EU safety & compliance rules for hazardous materials. Experience in greenfield warehouse setup is a strong plus. Hands-on mindset: willing to work on-site at a remote warehouse, able to handle heavy operational pressure in ramp-up stage. Strong stakeholder management & negotiation skills: capable of collaborating smoothly while holding firm standards against dominant suppliers. Prior experience in supplier sourcing and B2B customer engagement. Good computer skills, advanced Excel; previous WMS implementation experience is preferred, with basic project coordination capability. Fluent English for daily business; Dutch language is a bonus. Self-motivated, solution-oriented instead of instruction-only execution. Comfortable with high pressure during the ramp-up phase, result-driven on turnover, accuracy and fill rate KPIs.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee dangerous goods warehouse operations, compliance, supplier performance, inventory and service KPIs, and continuous improvement. Source and develop suppliers, manage customer engagement, and lead local WMS implementation and coordination with headquarters.

Requirements

Requires hands-on experience managing a dangerous goods warehouse in the EU and strong knowledge of Dutch and EU hazardous-material safety and compliance rules. Candidates should bring supplier sourcing and customer engagement experience, negotiation and stakeholder skills, advanced Excel and digital literacy, and the ability to work on-site under ramp-up pressure; WMS implementation experience is preferred.
