Functiebeschrijving As Director Consulting Services you take end-to-end responsibility for clients, delivery, and operations within our Space unit. You lead and grow your own business, combining commercial leadership, delivery excellence, and team development. In doing so, you contribute to a fast-growing domain with strong societal impact. Your role in the team As Director Consulting Services, you are responsible for growing and managing your own portfolio of clients. You combine business development, account leadership, delivery and people leadership to create long-term value for both our clients and CGI. Driving commercial growth is a key priority. You build and expand relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities. You understand client challenges, translate them into opportunities, and mobilize CGI's expertise to deliver innovative solutions. You are actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and shaping client engagements to developing proposals, leading bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring successful project delivery. In this role, you: Lead a team of approximately 12 - 20 consultants and support their growth and development; Are accountable for client satisfaction, successful project delivery, revenue, margin, and billability; Develop and execute account growth strategies for existing and prospective clients; Collaborate closely with CGI experts across Europe to bring the best capabilities to our clients; Represent CGI within the space sector and actively expand your professional network. How You Strengthen Our Team We are looking for a commercial builder who combines business with a passion for technology. We are looking for someone with: A proven track record in creating, developing, and winning new business within IT, engineering, consulting, or technology-driven environments; Experience in growing strategic client relationships and expanding accounts; Experience in leading proposals, bids, RFIs, and RFPs; An entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, and strong execution capabilities; A bachelor's or master's degree and fluent English language skills, Dutch language skills are a plus. Core Responsibilities

Lead and grow a portfolio of space-sector clients, driving business development, account growth, proposals, bids, contract negotiations, and successful project delivery. Lead a team of approximately 12–20 consultants while overseeing client satisfaction, revenue, margin, billability, and team development.

Requirements

Candidates should have a proven record of winning new business and growing strategic client relationships in IT, engineering, consulting, or technology-driven environments, including experience leading proposals, bids, RFIs, and RFPs. A bachelor's or master's degree, fluent English, EU Member State citizenship, and willingness to undergo personal security screening are required; Dutch is an advantage.
