Role Overview Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to benchmark and improve cutting-edge AI design models. We are looking for highly skilled Graphic Designers to execute real-world design workflows and articulate their creative decisions. ⚠️ STRICT HARDWARE REQUIREMENT:You MUST own a MacBook or Mac (Apple M-series or Intel processor) running macOS 15 or higher. Applicants without a qualifying Mac cannot be considered for this project. What You’ll Do Complete end-to-end graphic design tasks using industry-standard tools directly on your Mac. Clearly narrate and document your creative decisions, workflows, and reasoning as you work to generate high-quality training data for advanced AI models. Enjoy a clearly structured workflow without the high pressure typically found in agency or full-time consulting roles. Candidate Profile Experience: 2-3 years of professional/freelance experience + a Bachelor’s degree from a prestigious institution, OR currently enrolled in/recently completed a Master’s program in Design. Design Tools: High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity, and/or Canva. Core Skills: Strong foundation in branding, layout, typography, and visual communication (A strong portfolio is a huge plus). Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills to effectively explain complex creative decisions. Engagement Details & Compensation Work Structure: 100% remote, independent contractor position. Immediate start preferred. Commitment: Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 10-20 hours per week). Compensation: Highly competitive flat rate of $50.00 to $60.00 per hour. Payments: Processed securely and weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Next Steps Submit your resume and portfolio. Requirements

Candidates need 2–3 years of professional or freelance experience and a bachelor’s degree from a prestigious institution, or current/recent enrollment in a master’s program in Design. They must own a qualifying Mac running macOS 15 or higher, demonstrate proficiency in relevant design tools and core design principles, and have excellent written and spoken English.
