Move forward as Customer Service Representative at DSV in Haps

Do you want to play a key role at a dynamic warehouse location where customer focus, quality and speed come together? Are you sharp, communicative and able to keep overview in an environment where priorities truly matter? Then this is your next step.

You get it done
For our client, specialising in advanced nutrition products and operating globally, you ensure optimal collaboration between the warehouse and the customer. Delivering maximum customer satisfaction by establishing smooth and efficient processes: you’re on it.

How will you do this? You are responsible for all administrative and planning activities for the customer. As a key link between our warehouse and the customer, you ensure that all order information is accurately recorded in our system, order progress is monitored, the planning for the logistics department is managed, and the client is informed in a timely manner.
Your contribution makes the difference in this dynamic environment. You achieve this by:

  • monitoring and prioritising orders, understanding that some orders are vital and always take priority;
  • aligning with the warehouse, customer and other stakeholders on planning, progress and changes;
  • allocating and processing orders, monitoring cut-off times and handling reports and administration in our systems;
  • proactively communicating via email and phone, mainly in English.

Your team at DSV stands out for its open and positive atmosphere and strong sense of collaboration. You will work in a team of 5 to 6 colleagues where we make each other all-round, divide tasks in advance and support one another when needed. Working hard and having fun together go hand in hand.

From the start, experienced team members will guide you with explanations, training materials and time to learn the role. You will work 40 hours per week at our Haps location, from 08:00 to 16:30 or from 08:30 to 17:00.

We are DSV, we grow
DSV is a global provider of transport and logistics services. With offices in more than 90 countries and a growing network of partners, there is no place in the world we cannot reach via transport by air, sea, rail, courier or road or where we can offer storage in warehouses.

“No 2 days are the same. We tackle challenges together and help each other move forward. You will have the guidance and time to learn the role and become increasingly independent”, says Andzelika Wienke, supervisor customer service.

In the Netherlands, we operate from over 40 branches, with more than 5,000 colleagues. Together we rise to the challenge of a rapidly changing environment. We make quick decisions at every level and combine ambition and teamwork. This is how we move forward and make a difference together.

You bring

  • at least 2 years of experience within logistics, for example as an operations planner or customer service agent;
  • good command of the English language, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus;
  • experience with systems or the ability to learn them quickly, including Excel and PowerPoint;
  • an assertive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to think outside the box;
  • availability to work 40 hours per week fully on site in Haps; working from home is not possible and a driving licence is required due to the accessibility of the location.

It all counts for this vacancy of customer service representative in Haps. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly be possible if you like to keep going, have guts and want to grow with DSV.
