At Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences for both our guests and our ambassadors. As a Housekeeping Quality Management Intern, you will be part of a passionate and dynamic team that strives for the highest standards in luxury hospitality.
Your role
In this diverse internship, you will play a key role in maintaining and elevating the quality standards within our Housekeeping department. Acting as a link between different teams, you will assist the Housekeeping Management with daily operations while ensuring our legendary Sofitel standards are met. You will supervise quality processes, coordinate administrative tasks, and contribute to projects that enhance guest satisfaction.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supervising and inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure impeccable cleanliness and maintenance.
- Supporting the Housekeeping Manager with planning, scheduling, and coordinating the team.
- Managing guest requests and handling feedback with care and efficiency.
- Working closely with other departments, including Front Office and Engineering, to guarantee seamless operations.
- Assisting in quality audits and contributing ideas to further improve our services.
- Participating in cross-departmental operational shifts to broaden your hotel knowledge and gain valuable hands-on experience.
Qualifications

- You are enrolled in a Hospitality Management or related study (MBO/HBO level).
- You have an eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
- You are proactive, flexible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced luxury environment.

The internship allowance is €750 gross per month based on 38 hours per week. In addition, you may be eligible for a travel allowance.

Core Responsibilities

Requirements
Candidates must be enrolled in a Hospitality Management or related study program at the MBO or HBO level. Applicants are expected to be proactive, flexible, and possess a strong eye for detail with a passion for luxury service.
