We’re looking for a colleague to join our new warehouse team in Amsterdam in the position of Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
The Receiving and Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring smooth and accurate shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with carriers, warehouse staff, and customers to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
Verify shipment accuracy, inspect for damages, and maintain detailed shipping and receiving records.
Assist in scheduling deliveries, assigning dock doors, and preparing documentation such as blind tallies and bills of lading.
Support inventory checks, cycle counts, and audits to ensure data accuracy.
Apply Lean 5S and Continuous Improvement principles to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) is a must.
- Strong attention to detail, experience in data entry.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Fluency in English and any other language skills are a plus.
Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The typical salary range for this position is: €35.504 - €42.513 (paid on 13-month salaries + holiday allowance)
The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills and experience. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
Core Responsibilities
The clerk is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining accurate records and documentation. They also support inventory audits and ensure the warehouse environment adheres to Lean 5S and safety standards.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 3 years of warehouse experience and proficiency in warehouse management systems. Strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and the ability to interpret operational documents are required.
