Job Description

WHO WE ARE

Magnus Energy helps organisations navigate the energy transition. As one of Europe’s leading energy consultancies, we support system operators, energy suppliers, regulatory authorities and many others from strategy through to delivery. From setting a new direction and reshaping organisations, to moving projects forward, delivering change and optimising operations.

Our diverse international team includes technical experts, programme managers, management consultants and pragmatic problem-solvers. With 17+ nationalities across five European hubs, we cover every aspect of the energy transition - working towards a secure, sustainable and affordable energy system, and a bright future for all.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play an important role in helping Magnus Energy grow by finding the people who can contribute to our ambitions in the energy transition.

You will independently manage end-to-end recruitment across different seniority levels, with a particular focus on specialist consulting and energy-sector talent in the Netherlands and Belgium, while also supporting recruitment across our wider European business.

Working closely with hiring managers and People & Culture colleagues, you will act as a recruitment partner to the business, bringing knowledge of the talent market, advising and challenging hiring managers on candidate profiles and recruitment approaches, and helping us decide where and how to focus our efforts.

Alongside delivering on current hiring needs, you will help us build stronger talent pipelines, support our recruitment marketing efforts and use data to understand what works. You will join a collaborative team where initiative is encouraged, ideas can quickly turn into action, and you can see the impact of your work as Magnus Energy grows.

This role can be offered at 24-40 hours per week.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles within Magnus Energy, from sourcing and first contact through interviews, offers and onboarding, with a focus on the Dutch and Belgium market.

  • Partner with and advise hiring managers on hiring needs, candidate profiles, talent availability, recruitment approaches and priorities, using market insights to help make informed decisions.

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for priority capabilities and strategic hires, creating relationships with relevant talent beyond immediate vacancies.

  • Analyze recruitment data in our ATS (Team Tailor), tracking KPIs such as pipeline conversion, time-to-hire, sourcing effectiveness and candidate experience, and turning these insights into practical improvements.

  • Coordinate candidate interviews, assessments, and feedback loops, making sure candidates have a good experience.

  • Strengthen the Magnus Energy brand through content creation on LinkedIn and contribute to Campus Recruitment activities, when needed.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, within an international or fast-growing environment. Experience recruiting in consultancy AND/OR energy transition.

  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing and direct candidate engagement, rather than relying primarily on inbound applications.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships.

  • A proactive, curious, and data-driven mindset, with an interest in talent markets and the ability to translate insights into practical recruitment approaches.

  • Fluency in Dutch (C2) and English (minimum C1) is required.

  • Experience with ATS platforms ( TeamTailor preferable) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)

  • Comfortable working independently, prioritising across multiple vacancies and taking ownership of your business areas.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in employer branding or recruitment marketing.
