This role is a chance to help shape the day-to-day experience for both customers and team members in a fast-paced café environment. As Assistant General Manager, you will play an important part in maintaining high standards, supporting performance, and helping create a positive, well-run operation that reflects Hagen’s approach to specialty coffee and hospitality.
Responsibilities- Support daily café operations and maintain exceptional service standards.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team throughout each shift.
- Assist the General Manager with sales targets and operational performance.
- 6 months to 1 year of hospitality and/or coffee experience.
- 6 months to 1 year of supervisory or assistant manager experience, including experience leading shifts.
- Experience coaching baristas on shift and handling customer issues with confidence and professionalism.
- Experience supporting a General Manager with team performance.
- Fluent in English.
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
- Full flexibility to work a full-time schedule as needed.
- Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
Core Responsibilities
The Assistant General Manager will support daily café operations and maintain high service standards while leading and motivating the team. They will also assist the General Manager in achieving sales targets and managing overall operational performance.
Requirements
Candidates must have 6 months to 1 year of experience in hospitality or coffee, along with supervisory experience. Proficiency in English is required, and the ability to work a full-time, flexible schedule is essential.
