About Teamlead Teamlead builds workforce management software for contact centres. Team leads use it to plan their teams: forecasting based on call volumes, automatic scheduling, adherence (who is available right now) and leave. Our customers include housing associations in the Netherlands, and through partners Teamlead runs at organisations in the United Kingdom and Australia. We are a small team with an office in the Groot Handelsgebouw in Rotterdam. The role You become one of our two developers and work across the whole product, from database to screen. You pick up a problem, work out the best solution, build and test it, and ship it. We work AI-native: you build with agents such as Claude Code or Codex and own the quality of what they produce. You learn through code reviews and by designing solutions together with your fellow developer. You grow into the owner of our technical choices and infrastructure. What you will do Build new features in our Django back end and React front end, from design to release Build and maintain integrations with contact centre platforms and HR systems Improve our AI scheduling engine and forecasting, and make them available in AI assistants such as Claude and Copilot through MCP Investigate issues raised by customers and partners and fix them at the root Ship monthly releases to customers in Europe, the UK and Australia Contribute to the security and accessibility of the platform Build new AI features into the product What we are looking for 2 to 3 years of experience as a developer, or less if you can show what you have built Experience with Python, ideally Django, and with React You build with AI agents such as Claude Code or Codex every day and know when not to trust them You learn fast and look for the best solution, not just the quickest You work independently and take ownership of what you deliver Good Dutch and English: our customers are in the Netherlands, our partners in the UK and Australia You live in the Randstad or can easily travel to Rotterdam Nice to have Experience with TypeScript, AWS, Docker or Terraform Experience with API integrations and webhooks An interest in planning or optimisation problems What we offer €4,000 to €5,000 gross per month, depending on experience 32 to 40 hours a week, by agreement 8% holiday allowance and 25 days of leave Pension scheme Laptop and public transport allowance A paid Claude Code or Codex licence Training budget for courses and conferences Hybrid working, with an office next to Rotterdam Central Station A small team where you make a direct impact: what you build is used every day by teams in several countries Room to bring your own ideas into the product Interested? Core Responsibilities

Build and release features across the Django back end and React front end, maintain integrations with contact centre platforms and HR systems, and improve scheduling, forecasting, and AI capabilities. Investigate and resolve customer issues, ship monthly releases, and contribute to platform security, accessibility, and technical infrastructure.

Requirements

The role seeks a developer with 2–3 years of experience, or less with demonstrable projects, and experience with Python (ideally Django) and React. Candidates should use AI coding agents thoughtfully, work independently, learn quickly, communicate well in Dutch and English, and live in or be able to travel to the Randstad; TypeScript, AWS, Docker, Terraform, API integrations, webhooks, and planning or optimisation experience are advantageous.
