Job Description

This is us: We are the Infinite Group. A family of IT companies where technology, people, and entrepreneurship come together. Through the combined strengths of Exellyn and Ynvolve, we support customers worldwide with IT lifecycle services, hardware solutions, global deployments, circular IT, and IT asset recovery. Operating in an international and fast-moving environment brings exciting opportunities, but also responsibilities. As our business continues to grow, having a strong and practical compliance framework is more important than ever. From international trade regulations and export controls to sanctions and third-party due diligence, we want to make sure we're doing business the right way. And we are just getting started. To support our continued international growth, we are looking for a hands-on and proactive Compliance Officer who wants to take ownership, strengthen our compliance processes, and help build a solid foundation for the future. Your responsibilities: As our Compliance Officer, you'll play an important role in developing and strengthening the compliance framework across Infinite Group. From trade and export regulations to sanctions, KYC/CDD and third-party due diligence, you'll make sure we have the right policies, processes and controls in place to keep our business compliant. You'll be part of our BOL (Business Operations & Legal) department, reporting directly to the CFO, and working closely with colleagues across our international organization. Don't expect a role where you're only reviewing policies and ticking boxes… We are looking for someone who enjoys getting things done! You'll have the opportunity to build and improve our compliance processes, translate complex requirements into practical solutions, and help colleagues understand what compliance means for their daily work. You'll take ownership of our compliance framework, identify potential risks, and work together with different departments to make sure our processes are effective and consistently followed. You'll also coordinate and maintain the compliance framework related to privacy and data protection, including GDPR. While the operational teams remain responsible for compliance in their own activities, you'll provide the guidance, structure, and oversight they need. In short, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact and help shape how compliance works across Infinite Group! Your day in the office: Of course, every day is different, but here's what a typical day as a Compliance Officer at our office could look like: 09:00 You start your day with a fresh cup of coffee and a quick catch-up with your colleagues. After checking your emails, you review an update on international sanctions regulations. Could these changes affect any of our customers or transactions? You identify the potential impact and determine whether any action is needed. 10:00 Time to focus on one of your projects! You're currently improving our KYC/CDD procedures. You review existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop clear guidelines that help colleagues carry out the right checks without unnecessary complexity. 11:30 You meet with colleagues from Sales and the Export Desk to discuss a customer transaction that requires additional due diligence. Together, you assess the risks, review the available documentation, and determine which steps are needed before the transaction can proceed. 12:30 Lunchtime! You enjoy a lovely buffet lunch while you try to master some of the 25+ different languages spoken by our coworkers when chatting with them. A quick walk outside will give you some new energy for the rest of the day. 13:30 This afternoon, you're working with different teams to make sure compliance controls are properly integrated into our daily workflows. You discuss how screening requirements can be incorporated into existing systems and agree on responsibilities and follow-up actions. 15:00You prepare a short update for the CFO, highlighting key compliance risks, ongoing improvements, and any issues requiring attention. You also review the progress of previously agreed actions to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. 16:00 Before wrapping up, you work on a compliance awareness session for colleagues. Your goal? Making complex regulations understandable, relevant, and easy to apply in everyday situations. 17:00 Wrap up the day! Before heading home, you join a fun workout in the company gym. We believe in working hard and having fun along the way, creating a supportive and fun working environment that you’ll love being a part of. This is you: You have 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, or a related field. You have experience in an international B2B environment, preferably within technology, IT distribution, or a similar industry. You have a solid understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements, preferably including trade and export controls, sanctions, KYC/CDD, and third-party due diligence. You know how to translate complex regulations into clear, practical policies and processes that work for the business. You have a pragmatic, hands-on mindset and know how to balance compliance requirements with business needs. You take ownership, work independently, and enjoy developing and improving compliance structures. You have a strong eye for detail and work accurately, especially when it comes to documentation and regulatory requirements. You are confident in challenging decisions, raising concerns, and speaking up when necessary. You are a team player and a clear communicator who enjoys working with colleagues across different departments. You have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a plus! What’s in it for you: A competitive salary, plus 8% holiday allowance. A permanent contract from the start. An attractive pension plan with a 15% pension contribution, equally shared between you and the employer. An international and multicultural working environment with colleagues across several countries. An exciting workplace with great perks, including a company gym, weekly group training sessions with a professional trainer, and an attractive company lunch plan. The opportunity to build, shape and further develop the compliance framework across Infinite Group. A role with real impact, where your expertise directly contributes to the growth and success of our international business. A highly entrepreneurial environment with plenty of ownership, independence and freedom to bring your ideas to life. The opportunity to work closely with different departments and senior management, giving you broad exposure across the organization. A dynamic and growing international organization where there's plenty of room for professional development and new initiatives. We'd prefer not to get messages from job agencies or recruiters, since we already have our trusted partners. Thanks!
