It is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys autonomy, technical challenges, and working at the intersection of traditional finance and cryptocurrency.
\n- Accounts Payable management: Own the end-to-end supplier payment process, including invoice review, coding, approval workflows through tools such as ApprovalMax and Xero, payment preparation, supplier statement reconciliations, and vendor master data maintenance.
- General ledger accounting: Prepare and manage journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments to ensure accurate financial records.
- Financial closing: Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities across group entities, working closely with external accounting firms to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

- Intercompany accounting: Manage monthly intercompany reconciliations, recharges, and settlements across multiple entities, ensuring consistency and resolving outstanding differences.
- Tax and VAT compliance: Support VAT reporting and other tax compliance activities across jurisdictions, including VAT returns, reverse-charge transactions, and withholding taxes, in collaboration with external tax advisors.
- Audit preparation: Prepare supporting documentation and audit files, coordinate information requests, and assist with interim and annual external audits.
- Internal controls and process improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, improve accounting workflows, and increase the efficiency and reliability of financial operations.
- Cross-functional accounting support: Contribute across the full accounting cycle, balancing routine processing with complex technical accounting tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency.
- International collaboration: Work effectively with external service providers and colleagues across jurisdictions to ensure accounting practices remain aligned with applicable requirements and reporting deadlines.

- Proficiency with accounting software and strong Excel skills; familiarity with Xero and ApprovalMax is an advantage.
- The ability to manage both routine accounting operations and complex technical tasks independently, accurately, and consistently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and organized working style, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a remote, international team. French language skills are a plus.

About Jobgether
Industry: Internet Marketplace Platforms
Company size: 11-50 employees
Jobgether is a career navigation platform built for senior professionals competing in the remote job market. Hiring systems were designed for volume and keyword matching, not for 15 or 20 years of nonlinear experience. That structural mismatch is why strong profiles get filtered out before a human ever sees them. Our platform diagnoses where a search is breaking, corrects how experience is positioned, and connects professionals to the companies where their background creates real value. The goal is not more applications. It is the right visibility in the right places. Our mission is to ensure no senior professional remains invisible in the global remote market, not because they lack the skills, but because the system failed to read them correctly.
