About Cyclomedia
At Cyclomedia, our mission is to digitise the outside world with precision and purpose. Our geospatial technology turns real-world imagery into actionable insights. Municipalities, utilities, telecom operators, engineering firms and many other organisations use it to run their operations more safely, efficiently and sustainably.
We believe diverse perspectives drive innovation. That is why we are building a team that reflects different backgrounds, identities and experiences. If you want to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
The role
Cyclomedia is growing in the Dutch corporate market, and we are looking for a (Mid-Level) Account Manager to drive that growth in Infrastructure and Energy. You will sell to leading corporations in the Netherlands, mainly infrastructure companies, grid operators and energy companies. Your portfolio may also include customers in the telecom sector and engineering firms.
The role is a 60/40 balance between account management and new business. You will take over an existing portfolio of customers and grow it, while also winning new logos. New business also includes new opportunities within your existing accounts.
This is more than selling licences. The energy transition is opening up a fast-moving utility market, and we want you to spot new opportunities, bring customer insights back to our product teams and help shape new propositions.
You will join a sales team of five and report to our Sales Manager Infra BeNe. Typical deals are €30-€100k, with sales cycles of around six to eight months for new customers. Most business is done directly with customers.
What you will do
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of corporate accounts across the Netherlands, with a focus on Infrastructure and Energy, and potentially including Telco customers.
Hunt for new business: identify target accounts, open doors at C-level and build a strong pipeline.
Own the full sales cycle, from first conversation to negotiation and close, creating the best deal for both the customer and Cyclomedia.
Show customers how Cyclomedia data and insights improve their planning, asset management and network operations.
Act as a business developer: pick up new market trends, such as those driven by the energy transition, and turn them into new initiatives together with Product and Marketing.
Work closely with Sales Enablement and Marketing to win and expand accounts.
Keep the CRM and pipeline up to date and share what you see in the market with your team.
Spend time where it matters: at customers, in our Zaltbommel office and at our sales team meeting on Friday mornings.
What you bring
5 to 10 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of closing deals.
Experience selling to midlarge/large corporates, ideally the top 200 companies in the Netherlands.
A hunter mentality combined with strong closing skills. You know how to bring a customer to your side, also in a competitive market.
A strong network in the infrastructure and/or energy space is a big plus. Experience with telecom operators or engineering firms is also valuable.
Native-level Dutch and fluent English.
Mindset above skills: you bring good energy, you are motivated and you just get going.
A true team player with integrity. You communicate openly, share knowledge and celebrate your colleagues' wins as much as your own.
A driver's licence and willingness to travel to customers across the Netherlands.
Nice to have
Knowledge of or experience in geospatial data, GIS or related technologies.
A bachelor's degree or higher.
What we offer
A challenging role in a strong, growing international company.
A team of more than 500 talented and helpful colleagues from many different countries.
Room for personal growth through training, courses and coaching.
A competitive base salary plus quarterly commission, with commission potential from your first year thanks to an existing customer portfolio.
A company car, with a lease budget of €1,000 per month.
A company phone and laptop.
Holidays: 25 days, with the option to buy 10 extra days per year, plus an additional day off after Ascension Day.
Mental Health Day: one flexible day per year to rest, recharge and focus on your wellbeing.
Sports allowance: €25.00 gross per month.
Home-working allowance: €2.00 per day, based on our hybrid way of working (3 days in the office, 2 from home).
Core Responsibilities
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of corporate accounts while hunting for new business opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sectors. You will own the full sales cycle and collaborate with product and marketing teams to translate market trends into new initiatives.
Requirements
Requires 5 to 10 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals with large corporate clients. Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and English and possess a hunter mentality with strong negotiation skills.
