Development of the Supply Chain Virtual Twin on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is a major strategic initiative for the DELMIA R&D Operations Optimization department. Now reaching maturity, customer implementations require scaling the Supply Chain Data Management service to support large and complex supply chains. This service is also critical to our GEN7 AI strategy, enabling world-class Generative Experiences and Virtual Companion capabilities. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Software Architect - Supply Chain Data with a strong background in Java backend development and enterprise data management to drive and engineer the data architecture from strategy to hands-on implementation and adoption, ensuring robust, reusable models for the Supply Chain Virtual Twin. Role Description And Responsibilities Design, code and implement the data architecture of a high-performance data service with diverse requirements: Data versioning, Data scenarios, Access control, Extensibility, Backwards compatibility, API access for client applications and Service-to-service integration. Actively contribute to and guide implementation within an enterprise Java code base, translating functional requirements into production-ready technical solutions. Ensure the performance, capacity and scalability of the service by applying appropriate data management technologies for various use cases. Our service makes use of both relational databases and data lakehouse technologies. Support the development of high-performance front-end web applications for visualizing and authoring data, and enable Agentic AI architecture with MCP servers and agent-to-agent communication Qualifications Proven professional experience working within the supply chain domain, operations optimization, or complex enterprise data environments. Strong, hands-on programming background with solid, production-level Java experience, alongside modern development skills (distributed systems, cloud, web and database architectures). Experience in data modeling frameworks, relational databases, data lakehouse technologies, machine learning/AI data pipelines, and cloud computing environments. A builder/engineer mindset with the ability to follow-up high-level architecture with hands-on code implementation, alongside strong leadership to drive modeling across organizations and functional domains. Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both engineering teams and management audiences. Why Join Us? Core Responsibilities

Design and implement the architecture of a scalable Supply Chain Data service, including data models, versioning, scenarios, access control, extensibility, APIs, and service integrations. Guide hands-on Java development, optimize performance and scalability across relational and lakehouse technologies, and support data visualization and agentic AI capabilities.

Requirements

Requires substantial professional experience in supply chain, operations optimization, or complex enterprise data environments, with production-level Java and modern distributed, cloud, web, and database architecture skills. Candidates should have experience with data modeling, relational databases, lakehouse technologies, AI data pipelines, and the ability to lead cross-functional architecture work while implementing solutions hands-on.
