Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer / Full Stack Engineer with strong software development skills, hands-on experience in prompt engineering, and a solid understanding of the evolving AI landscape. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in machine learning or full-stack software engineering with practical experience designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for AI-powered applications. This role involves hands-on development across both backend and frontend technologies, with a strong emphasis on backend engineering using Java and JavaScript, alongside frontend development using React and JavaScript. We welcome candidates with a strong Machine Learning Engineering background who also have full-stack development experience, as well as Full Stack Engineers with a strong interest in AI and practical prompt engineering expertise. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications across backend and frontend components. Develop backend services and APIs using Java and JavaScript. Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React and JavaScript. Apply prompt engineering techniques to design, test, evaluate, and optimize prompts for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and efficiency. Explore and apply relevant AI capabilities to enhance application functionality and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-powered features into existing and new applications. Evaluate AI models, prompting approaches, and emerging tools to identify suitable solutions for business requirements. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, reliability, and code quality. Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay up to date with developments in machine learning, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI-assisted software development. Required Skills and Experience 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or a closely related technical role. Strong backend development experience using Java and JavaScript, with an understanding of API development and application architecture. Hands-on frontend development experience using React and JavaScript. Practical experience in prompt engineering, including crafting, testing, evaluating, and optimizing prompts for AI applications. A solid understanding of the AI landscape, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and their practical applications. Experience integrating AI capabilities into software applications or working with AI-enabled development solutions. Good understanding of software development best practices, debugging, testing, and maintainable code. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Core Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend and frontend applications using Java, JavaScript, and React, including backend services and APIs. Design and optimize prompts, integrate AI capabilities, evaluate models and tools, and contribute to application quality through debugging, code reviews, and collaboration.

Requirements

Requires 8 or more years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, or a related technical role, with backend experience in Java and JavaScript and frontend experience in React. Candidates should have practical prompt engineering and AI integration experience, understand generative AI and large language models, and demonstrate strong software development, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
