Onion Production focuses on delivering high-quality live entertainment experiences and collaborating with diverse partners and talent across borders. Role Description This is a contract role for a Freelance Interpreter supporting Onion Production’s international concert and event activities. The Interpreter will provide real-time interpretation during in-person meetings, rehearsals, and promotional activities, ensuring clear communication between artists, management, and local partners. Qualifications Strong language proficiency in at least two languages relevant to Onion Production’s markets (e.g., Korean, Dutch and/or English), with excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills. Demonstrated experience in interpretation (consecutive or simultaneous) for events, entertainment, or business settings, with the ability to convey tone, nuance, and cultural context accurately. Solid understanding of concert production or live events, including familiarity with common industry terminology and workflows, or a strong interest in the music and entertainment sector. Professional communication skills, discretion with confidential information, and a customer-focused approach when working with artists, managers, and partners.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in at least two relevant languages, such as Korean, Dutch, or English, and experience interpreting in event, entertainment, or business settings are required. Candidates should understand live-event terminology and workflows or have a strong interest in the music and entertainment sector, and demonstrate discretion and professional communication.
