Introduction 36 hours per week Start: 16 November 2026 End: 31 December 2027 Extension possible: Yes ZZP is allowed Hybrid way of work Candidate MUST live in the Netherlands Job description To secure the developer workspace, the Domain Expert for Software Development Workspace Setup & Controls is responsible for defining, governing, and optimizing developer workstation environments across Windows and macOS platforms. The role ensures that development workspaces are secure, compliant, standardized, automated, and capable of supporting modern software engineering practices. Goal for this Domain Expert is to get to a set of approved and controlled developer applications on both Windows and Mac OS and make sure no other software runs on the end user workstation, be it virtual (W365) or physical (laptops). Requirements - Experience in software engineering, endpoint engineering, or workplace technology domains. - Experience managing developer environments in enterprise organizations. - Experience implementing enterprise-scale developer workstation standards and controls. Core Responsibilities

Define, govern, and optimize secure, compliant, standardized, and automated developer workspaces across Windows and macOS. Establish approved and controlled developer applications and prevent unauthorized software from running on virtual or physical workstations.

Requirements

Requires experience in software engineering, endpoint engineering, or workplace technology, along with enterprise developer environment management. Candidates should have experience implementing workstation standards and controls, with relevant expertise across Windows, macOS, development platforms, virtualization, and security controls.
