You will work on the systems processing large amounts of restaurant data daily. About Culinary Cloud We’re building Culinary Cloud to help restaurants take control of their costs, improve their margins, and spend less time on administration. Join a small, ambitious team working directly with the founders and close to our customers. About the role As a software developer at Culinary Cloud, you will work directly with the founders to turn real restaurant problems into practical product improvements. You will take features from understanding the problem through implementation, testing and follow-up. We’re a small team with ambitious goals. What you’ll do Build and improve features across our web application and backend, from a clear first version to a reliable customer experience. Work with the founders and customer-facing colleagues to understand restaurant workflows and choose useful problems to solve. Take ownership of your work: clarify the goal, communicate progress, test the result, and follow up after release. Turn repeated tasks into reusable systems and explore practical uses of AI for our team and customers. Investigate bugs, respond to feedback, and leave the code easier to understand and maintain. What you bring Experience building software you can explain and demonstrate. Personal, study, freelance, and professional projects all count. A working understanding of web development, APIs, and databases, plus a willingness to learn unfamiliar tools. The ability to break a problem into small steps, test assumptions, and explain the trade-offs you make. Clear communication: ask useful questions, raise blockers early, and follow through on commitments. Care for correctness and customer data, with curiosity about automation and responsible AI use.
